Using the software
Yellow Ruby is Windows desktop software for local AI video upscaling, conversion, clipping, and subtitle generation. You must have the rights to process your media. You are responsible for your source files, outputs, and use of generated content. Keep backups and review outputs before relying on them. AI output quality and processing speed depend on your hardware, media, and chosen model.
Internet access is required for downloads, sign-in, payments, email delivery, and online AI translation. Third-party runtimes and models are subject to their respective licenses, as described in the application's third-party notices and source repository.
Premium purchase and delivery
Premium costs $5 USD as a one-time purchase, before applicable tax. Paddle displays the final amount and payment currency before you pay. There is no subscription or recurring charge. A signed-in account is required; Premium is delivered electronically to the account used to start checkout after server confirmation of payment. Return to the app and use Refresh status. Contact support if activation does not appear.
Premium currently enables configured email notifications for completed or failed upscaling jobs. Future features are not a guarantee or a current deliverable. Free local processing remains available without Premium. Premium access is personal to your account; keep your sign-in details secure. An ArchiveKong purchase is separate from a Yellow Ruby purchase.
Payments and refunds
Paddle acts as merchant of record for Premium purchases, subject to its Buyer Terms. Our 14-day full refund policy applies in addition to mandatory consumer rights. A refunded purchase no longer entitles the account to the paid features.
Availability and responsibility
Software and online features may receive updates or experience interruptions. We do not promise compatibility with every PC or uninterrupted third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or limits consumer rights where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
Privacy and updates
See our Privacy policy for information about accounts, local processing, and online services. We may update these terms to reflect product or service changes and will show the effective date on this page. Changes do not remove rights attached to an existing purchase or mandatory legal protections.
